As long as you keep leaning forward...

I've experienced some of my greatest personal revelations when I moved to Seattle in 2017. My desire for change during the growing pains of a life transition led me to journey up here from California to pursue a Masters Degree--something I once never thought I was capable of doing. Leaving a familiar life and moving up here without knowing a single soul has certainly been transformational. There were times when I've felt supported, loved, alone, frightened, and lost. But despite the inevitable challenges we experience throughout our lives, here's one thing I've learned: You will never know what your true potential is until you take that risk. I think deep down we all feel like we bring value to the world and yet we're still trying to find our place in it. All of my personal struggles really made me look inward. I feel like there was no other way to discover my own potential until I explored above and beyond the life I was comfortable with. Nevertheless, this incredible experience has graced me with the opportunity to redefine what success means. When you start to pull from your truth and make decisions that feel honest to you, there is no longer a "right" or "wrong". You start to believe in yourself again. As long as you keep leaning forward, you will invariably reach your North Star.
